Finance Development Program
This semester long program prepares students to succeed in their future endeavors within finance, business, and investing. This program covers fundamental principles of finance through an educational course which focuses on helping students prepare for different investing-related career paths. Throughout the program, you will be granted the opportunity to:
Build tight-knit relationships with fellow program participants through activities and socials
Gain a base-line understanding of financial concepts such as valuation, financial modeling, and how to think about investing
Become a knowledgeable and contributing member to the AIC community
Travel Series
AIC members enjoy the opportunity to both learn from and interact with some of the most well-respected individuals in their fields. In the past, we’ve traveled to Houston, Austin, Dallas, Omaha, and New York to meet with industry professionals. In addition to our primary focus on education, we’ve constructed a platform for members to gain access to professional resume-building, student investment symposiums, and strategic networking with business executives, successful investors, professors, and potential employers.
General Meetings
Our general meetings consist of either an industry speaker or a Security Analysis Workshop (SAW). In the past, our SAW meetings have covered topics in financial modeling, value investing, options, commodities, portfolio management, market events, and more.
Our meetings are every Tuesday @ 6:30pm
